About Me

I graduated with a Master in Family Nursing Practice from Georgetown University. I spent seven years as a bedside nurse providing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Medical/ Surgical inpatient settings. I volunteered at a free medical clinic prior to joining the fellows program with University of North Carolina Heath. I also worked part time at a free clinic on my days off while in the Fellows program. My passions include gardening, hiking, and most of all spending time with my three children and grandchild.
