In Spring 2023, The Leapfrog Group awarded CaroMont Regional Medical Center its twelfth Grade “A” for Hospital Safety. To date, the hospital has more Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Grade “A” awards than any other hospital in the Charlotte region. CaroMont Regional Medical Center is on the Straight "A" distinction list, which is given to any hospital that has five or more "A" grades in a row.
