Laboratory

Overview

Physicians and healthcare providers rely on laboratory services to give them critical information necessary to diagnose, treat and monitor a patient’s health, and with two outpatient locations offering a full range of clinical testing and pathology services, we deliver more than 2.6 million results every year. Tests are always recommended for individual patient needs, and performed by credentialed, compassionate technologists and pathologists to get a clearer picture of a patient’s health.

Services

Laboratory services are provided by CaroMont Pathology.

Our two laboratory testing centers provide venipuncture and fingerstick collection services as well as urine, stool and sputum specimen collection assistance.

Outpatients will be directed to an outpatient collection site during regular hours or the Access Management Department after-hours. After-hours, weekends, or holidays when an outpatient collection site is not open, outpatient labs will be collected by Emergency Department staff.
