About Us

CaroMont Coagulation Management Services treats coagulation disorders, which are conditions that affect the blood's ability to clot. Patients are referred by their primary care provider, cardiologist or hematologist/oncologist. Referring providers do not need to be affiliated with CaroMont Health.

What to Expect:

The first appointment lasts about 45 minutes and includes lab work along with education on warfarin, medication dosing and diet, including the role of vitamin K. Follow-up appointments review any relevant changes in health status and address adjustments to anticoagulant dosing. CaroMont Coagulation Management Services manages all anticoagulant medication refills for established patients.

Cancellation and Discharge Policy:

CaroMont Coagulation Management Services has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Patients who are unable to keep an appointment are asked to call as soon as possible. Missing three appointments within 90 days may result in discharge from the clinic.
