Clear and accurate communication is critical to every patient's well-being and safety. CaroMont Health provides interpreter services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service is free of charge and available to any patient who is deaf or has limited English proficiency.
Requesting an Interpreter
If you require an interpreter at any CaroMont Health location, please:
- Request by phone when making your appointment.
- Ask a staff member upon arriving to your appointment, procedure or urgent and/or emergency care.
- Alert your nurse or medical assistant before or during any examination or visit.
- Request interpretation services at a guest services desk or station at any facility.
Your provider may recommend an interpreter on your behalf to ensure critical information about your care is provided effectively.
