About Me
Dr. Alexander Ivanov is a cardiac electrophysiologist at CaroMont Heart & Vascular, specializing in the heart's electrical system.
He treats atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm problems, and many patients come to him because their heart is racing, skipping or pounding. His approach is simple: understand what's causing the problem, explain it clearly and decide together what to do next.
Dr. Ivanov chose electrophysiology because many rhythm problems can be treated effectively and patients often feel a real difference afterward. What he values most is helping people feel better and get back to their normal lives.
He trained in cardiology at Wake Forest Baptist and in cardiac electrophysiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and joined CaroMont in 2026. He speaks English and Russian.
Outside of work, Dr. Ivanov enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling and exploring new countries.
