About Me

I am a board-certified pediatrician with 16 years of patient care experience. I received my B.S. from Florida State University with a major in Exercise Physiology and minors in Chemistry and Biology. I earned my medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton in 2008 and then completed my Pediatrics residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, in 2011. After completing my pediatrics training, I had the privilege of serving my community by working in several community health centers in Tampa, Miami and St. Petersburg, Florida and serving on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization, Baby Cycle, that provided diapers to families in need. Then I worked at a busy private practice in Miami until I relocated to Gastonia in 2024. In my spare time, I love running, mountain biking and boating with my family.
