About Me

Ashtin Dicochea, LCSW, has a Master of Social Work from Fayetteville State University and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University. She has experience since 2015 serving children, adolescents and adults in individual therapy. She is trained in EMDR, an evidence-based practice to address symptoms related to exposure to potentially traumatic events. She also utilizes other modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, brief solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. She is passionate about working as a team with her patients to improve their overall quality of life based on individual treatment goals. She sees patients ages 12 and up, with a primary focus on individual adults.
