About Me

Danielle Kelly grew up in Harrisburg, NC and attended UNC Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees. She completed her MSN with honors in 2012. In college, she fell in love with nursing because of the close relationships nurses were able to develop with their patients. Since that time, she has practiced in a few different outpatient primary care clinics. One of her favorite things about pediatrics is getting to know families and watching kids grow and thrive. She has a particular interest in wellness, injury prevention and nutrition. She is also a board-certified lactation consultant and enjoys supporting moms in both breast and bottle-feeding their infants. Her goal is to make office visits as fun and pain-free as possible, and she likes to work with families to come up with care plans that work for their unique needs and lifestyle.

When she's not working, Danielle is usually spending time with her husband and three boys. She really enjoys cooking and especially baking. When the weather is nice, you'll often find her family outside. They especially enjoy bike rides, walks around the neighborhood, hiking, skiing and kayaking.
