About Me

Himax Patel, M.D., is a non-invasive cardiologist practicing at CaroMont Heart & Vascular. Dr. Patel provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients with a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension and preventive cardiology. He uses a multimodality approach to cardiovascular care, incorporating echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT to provide accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care while emphasizing clear communication and shared decision making with patients and their families. Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys strength training, watching football and spending time with his wife and son.
