About Me

I am a board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner. My nursing career began in 1996 after receiving my Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Gaston College. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University in 2007 and earned my Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama in 2016. I have worked with a variety of patient populations, but my passion is end-of-life care. I have worked with hospice and palliative care patients since 2007, and I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
