About Me

Dr. Laddeus Sutton is a board-certified invasive cardiologist who has been practicing in Gastonia since 1993. As the first invasive cardiologist to reside in Gaston County, he performed the initial transesophageal echocardiogram procedure at Gaston Memorial Hospital (now CaroMont Health) in 1993. He also performed the initial pharmacologic stress test at CaroMont Health in the same year.

Prior to entering the medical profession, Dr. Sutton graduated with honors in biomedical engineering from Duke University School of Engineering. During his cardiology fellowship, he was extensively involved in clinical research related to dilated cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension in sickle cell disease.

Dr. Sutton's practice approach has always been to be attentive and compassionate for all patients and to provide exceptional cardiovascular evaluation and treatments intended for lifesaving patient care.
