About Me

LaQuinta Kee is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings. LaQuinta earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and a Doctoral Nursing degree from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She made the decision to work in mental health realizing there was a serious lack of access to care in my community. For those reasons, she was encouraged to assist in bridging the gap in access and become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She finds that one of the most fulfilling aspects of working in mental health is being able to provide support to others during the most challenging moments in their life.
