About Me

Lisa G. Yanku is a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters Degree in Social work from Rhode Island College and an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island. She has over 30 years experience providing counseling to adult and geriatric populations.She uses Short-Term Solution focused Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help her patients achieve their goals. Her areas of specialty include grief/loss, trauma, chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, post partum depression, bipolar disorder and other behavioral issues.
