About Me
Dr. Maya M. Green, MD, was born and raised in Gaithersburg, MD and stayed in the area to attend University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree. She completed a master's degree at Hampton University and her medical training in Richmond, VA with Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Since completing her residency in Family Medicine, Dr. Green has enjoyed being a traveling doctor working with different populations across several different states, including Alaska and Hawaii. She is a proud patient advocate who enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with particular interest in women's health, preventive health and patient education. In her free time you can find Dr. Green exploring the local community or planning her next trip.
