Mayla Chung graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and from Wingate University’s Physician Assistant program. She started working as a Physician Assistant in gastroenterology in 2021 and is very passionate about this specialty. Chung's mission as a Physician Assistant is to ensure patients receive quality care. Her particular interests in gastroenterology include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and

irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
