About Me

Paige Macera began her career working with high-risk labor and deliveries, where she found an interest in working with surgical patients. For the last six years, she has cared for neurosurgical, trauma, transplant, vascular and various other surgical specialties in the adult intensive care setting. Macera attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for graduate school for its rigorous academia and the ability to complete her registered nurse first assist training concurrently with her nurse practitioner program. When not at work, she enjoys being active and spending time with her family.
