About Me

Dr. Lane grew up in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for college, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and graduated with highest honors. She then attended the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, where she completed medical school while simultaneously obtaining her Master’s in Public Health, and graduated with a dual MD/MPH degree. She completed her residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, where she was awarded resident of the year in her first year of residency. At the end of her training at Mount Sinai, she served as administrative chief resident. She has since returned to her heart’s home in North Carolina, where she is a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician. In her spare time, Dr. Lane enjoys spending time with her husband, running and hiking, and baking.
