About Me
Dr. Yan Zhao received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry from Wake Forest University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He practiced at Cone Health for two years before joining CaroMont Health in 2021.
