About Us

The Emergency Department at CaroMont Regional Medical Center provides comprehensive care for patients with urgent medical needs. As a Level III trauma center, the department has a team of skilled physicians, nurses and support staff equipped to treat a wide range of emergencies, from illnesses and injuries to life-threatening conditions and complex trauma cases. With advanced technology and a streamlined process, the department helps patients receive prompt, efficient care when they need it most.  

The hospital also features a dedicated pediatric emergency department and inpatient care center. Separate waiting areas and controlled access help ensure children and their families receive care in a private, comfortable environment.

The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provides care for a wide range of urgent and life-threatening conditions, including:

• Chest pain and heart-related symptoms
• Difficulty breathing
• Stroke symptoms
• Broken bones and serious injuries
• Trauma care
• Cuts and wounds that need stitches
• Severe pain
• High fevers and serious illness
• Pediatric emergencies
