Treatment Methods
Our licensed therapists, specializing in Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, have an average of 17 years of expertise in their fields. They strive for excellent quality and create an excellent patient experience by developing individualized treatment plans based on physician recommendations. These treatment options are developed using evidence-based methods and treatments including:
The McKenzie Method
Also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), this method is used to treat “mechanical” pain caused by the structure or movement of the body. The method employs a systematic series of tests to make diagnoses and develop specific treatment plans.
Graston Technique (GT)
This technique uses a patented form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to improve soft tissue mobility and decrease scar tissue. GT can be used to treat and reduce pain as well as improve movement function throughout the entire body.
Maitland Approach
This treatment method relies heavily on communication between the clinician and patient to make an assessment using manual therapy assessment and treatment tools. This approach allows open communication to drive the treatment plan resulting in the best possible results for the patient.
Paris Technique
Paris Techniques utilize manual therapies focused on restoring joint mobility. These targeted therapies are useful in restoring strength and balance to joint structures and can relieve pressure due to compression and impingements.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy can help alleviate pain, increase range of motion and joint flexibility, and reduce spasms and cramping. It has also been proven to reduce stress, promote relaxation and improve posture and circulation.
