CaroMont Health Career Club
CaroMont Health Career Club gives high school students the opportunity to learn about careers in healthcare, through activities, simulations, community service and presentations led by medical professionals.
- Students must be in high school.
- CaroMont Health Career Club meets one evening per month from October to April on the campus of CaroMont Regional Medical Center. The meetings last from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Registration will open in September and close when capacity is reached. The registration link will be shared with Gaston County school leaders the first week of September.
- We will maintain a waitlist and notify waitlisted students of acceptance after the second meeting.

Community Service Project |
In groups of 5-10, complete a service project at one of our partner organizations. Project must be a minimum of 4 hours of service. Projects will be presented to the club at the final meeting. |

Volunteer at CaroMont Health |
Complete 16 hours per semester of volunteer service at CaroMont Health Regional Medical Center or any CaroMont Health facility (Four 4-hour shifts). One role will be assigned in the Fall and an alternative role will be assigned in the Spring. Application required. |

CaroMont Student Athletic Trainer Program
At each Gaston County High School, students 9th grade and up have the opportunity to work under the school Athletic Trainer at practices and sporting events. There is a mandatory four-day training in July prior to each school year. For more information, please contact the Athletic Trainer at your Gaston County High School.
