About Me

Dr. Areej Mazhar is a triple board-certified physician with a special interest in advanced and interventional endoscopy involving pancreatic and biliary procedures as well as transplant hepatology. She has held several leadership roles, including Chief Resident and Chief Fellow throughout her extensive training. She has a strong research portfolio and is passionate about patient care and innovation in endohepatology. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, swimming and pilates.
