About Me

Dr. Nagaraja is a board-certified adult and board-eligible child and ddolescent psychiatrist dedicated to caring for the mental health of children, adolescents and adults, especially minority populations. During his fellowship, he was chosen for the Carilion Shine Award, given to one trainee out of over 300 for dedication to patient care. He has been dedicated to mental health policy and served as a Resident board member of the Psychiatric Society of Virginia. He is passionate about improving minority representation in psychiatry, medical education and mentorship. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
