About Me

Dr.Nagaraja is a board certified adult and board eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He is dedicated to caring for the mental health of children, adolescents, and adults especially minority populations. While a Fellow he was chosen for Carilion Shine Award given to one trainee out of over 300 for dedication to patient care. He has been dedicated to mental health policy and was a Resident board member of the Psychiatric Society of Virginia. He enjoys working on improving minority representation in Psychiatry, medical education, and mentorship. He completed residency and fellowship at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
