About Me

Robin McIntosh, MS, LCMHC, NCC, has a Master of Science in marriage, couples and family counseling from Walden University and an undergraduate degree in social work from East Carolina University. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and couples therapy. She provides several modalities of therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy/Dialectical Behavior Therapy (skills only), brief solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing and EMDR. She has experience working with the LGBTQI population using affirmative and feminist therapy. She is currently in school earning her Doctor of Philosophy in clinical sexology with Modern Sex Therapy Institute.
