About Me

Dr. Tshitenge was born in Democratic Republic of the Congo, grew up in South Africa and immigrated to Charlotte North Carolina in 2005. She attended Queens University of Charlotte and majored in Nursing. She then returned to Queens University to complete pre med prerequisites and attended Saint James School of Medicine. She enjoyed her emergency department rotations during residency and applied to an emergency medicine fellowship in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Though there were many opportunities in the state of Arkansas, her heart was always been in the Carolinas, and she is glad to be back in the state that originally welcomed her.
