About Me

Suresh Khandekar, MD, MRCP, is a lifelong learner who began with a Master's degree in Endocrinology/Diabetes from India, followed by fellowships in Gastroenterology in the United States. Khandekar has continued training and practice in interventional endoscopic procedures for difficult gastrointestinal polyps and tumors, as well as pancreatobiliary intervention. With a background in endocrinology and in response to the current obesity epidemic in the United States, Khandekar has trained and practiced in obesity medicine and non-surgical endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic gastric sleeve and endoscopic revision after post-bariatric surgery weight regain, to promote weight loss and improved health outcomes.
