About Us

CaroMont Coagulation Management Services treats coagulation disorders, which are conditions that affect the blood's ability to clot. Patients who need treatment are referred by their primary care provider, cardiologist or hematologist/oncologist. Referring providers do not have to be associated with CaroMont Health. 

Patients can expect their first appointment to be 45 minutes long. This appointment will include Warfarin education, Diet (Vitamin K) education, lab work and dosing education. Consecutive follow up appointments will review any pertinent changes in health status and address anticoagulant dosing adjustments.  CCMS will manage all anticoagulant medication refills for established patients.

Cancellation/Discharge Policy:

CaroMont Coagulation Management Services has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Patients are asked to call as soon as they realize they're unable to make their appointment. Patients who miss 3 appointments within a 90-day time frame can result in discharge from the clinic.
