High-Risk Breast Program
This new program is designed to identify individuals, based on family history and other factors, are more at-risk for developing breast cancer in their lifetime. Once identified, a referral will be made by one of our breast navigators to one of our breast physician specialists who will see each patient and evaluate if additional screening and/or testing is warranted. CaroMont Health’s high-risk breast program physician leaders believe that these patients will benefit from the program by better understanding their own risks as well as the potential risk of cancer to other family members.
