Shared Governance
CaroMont Health's Nursing Shared Governance creates a collaborative framework where frontline nurses drive meaningful change and have a direct voice in shaping nursing excellence.
Our Shared Governance structure includes four dedicated councils:
- Clinical Practice
- Performance Improvement
- Professional Development
- Rewards and Recognition
This structure connects nurses at every level, from unit and division based councils to system wide councils to the Shared Governance Executive Committee, which works directly with Service Line Leadership. Input flows in both directions, so frontline perspectives consistently reach organizational decision-makers.
Through collaboration with nurses and service lines, Shared Governance ensures nursing perspectives align with both nursing and organizational goals and priorities.
