Practice Administrator, Cindy Johnson Recognized with Patriot Award for Outstanding Support to Military Reservists

Supporting military members is something Cindy Johnson understands. With several family members serving in the armed forces, the Practice Administrator for CaroMont Family Medicine in Lake Wylie knows personally how much flexibility and understanding can impact military members and their families.

Even with this personal commitment to assist, it was a complete surprise when Andrew Craig, Nurse Practitioner with CaroMont Urgent Care and navy reservist presented Johnson with the Service Member Patriot Award earlier this month. Along with a representative from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Johnson was honored for her efforts in supporting Craig’s schedule and service to both the Navy Reserve and CaroMont Urgent Care.

Service members and their families can nominate an individual or organization to receive the Patriot Award. Craig specifically wanted to thank Johnson for her consistent help and willingness to accommodate his military commitments, commending her for her kindness and enduring support.

Andrew Craig, FNP is currently on active military duty, but CaroMont Urgent Care sees patients seven days a week in Lake Wylie. Learn more on our website.
