CaroMont Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center Now Open
CaroMont Health is proud to announce that CaroMont Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center is now open and welcoming patients as part of the CaroMont Health network.
Effective June 3, 2026, the physicians and staff of the former Carolina Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center (COSMC) have joined CaroMont Health, forming one of the area's most comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine program. The new practice operates as part of the CaroMont Medical Group.

Patients will continue to see the same trusted physicians they have relied on for years. There is no disruption to care, treatment plans or provider relationships. The practice continues to operate at its current location in Gastonia, and patients can reach the office at 704-865-0077.
Now part of CaroMont Health, patients will also benefit from expanded resources, coordinated care across all specialties, and access to CaroMont Health's system-wide services, including advanced imaging, rehabilitation, and surgical capabilities.

The opening of CaroMont Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center brings together fellowship-trained surgeons, sports medicine physicians, advanced practice providers and rehabilitation specialists working as one coordinated team.
